Keynote | The Agentic Science Enterprise: Orchestrating the Shift from the Age of Apps to the Era of Agents, Workflows, and Robots
AI promises transformation, but today’s fragmented systems, siloed data, and brittle workflows are limiting real progress. In this candid keynote, Vasu Rangadass lays out the realities of the industry’s digital maturity and identifies the structural shifts needed to meaningfully unlock AI. The session will offer an unvarnished look at what’s working, what’s slowing organizations down, and how a unified, orchestral digital backbone will separate tomorrow’s leaders from those left behind.

L7|SYNAPSE
As AI capabilities expand in regulated life sciences environments, organizations are exploring how to safely apply them to real workflows and data. In this session, Robert Zeigler, Will Gray, and Kevin McMahon will present and demonstrate L7|SYNAPSE, the agentic layer of the L7|ESP platform. Robert will walk through a diagnostics use case, using natural-language interaction to build and execute workflows, Kevin will show a manufacturing use case using document digitization to convert a paper batch record into a digital, while Will will demonstrate “Seven,” focusing on data querying and summarization. The session will focus on how AI can be applied within governed systems to support execution, while maintaining human oversight and control.

Panel Discussion | From Samples to Signals: Scaling Genomics and Diagnostic Labs with AI-Ready Data
Diagnostics and genomics laboratories are producing unprecedented volumes of data, from routine clinical tests to large-scale genome sequencing. Yet many labs struggle to convert this data into actionable insights while maintaining throughput, accuracy, and trust. The challenge isn’t just scale, it’s ensuring data is structured, traceable, and AI-ready to enable the next generation of diagnostic innovation.
In this session, Ben Skidmore, Ph.D., L7 Informatics, brings together leaders from Harbinger Health, the Joint Genome Institute (JGI), CSI-Dx®, and L7 Informatics to explore how forward-thinking labs are modernizing operations. Panelists will share real-world experiences in connecting instruments, harmonizing workflows, and building scalable digital infrastructures that support both diagnostics and genomics.
Through candid discussion and real-world examples, the panel will explore how labs are managing complexity, increasing throughput, and preparing high-quality, AI-ready data. Attendees will gain practical insights into building connected, scalable diagnostic and genomics operations that support reliable results and future innovation.
